FAMILIES

by josetta turner on 04/01/20

As it is now we are staying in with our family only. No outside company. So how can we entertain ourselves and get to relate to each other better. playing the same old games is a boring idea. Missing the club or the freedom you feel when you let yourself go? Well everyone dress up including the kids like you are going out on the town. Put on your favorite jams and dance. Show what you got, teach everyone else too. Now to really set the mood serve drinks and snacks you all made together. I will list items you need to prepare a dump meal. Very little work and tasty inexpensive ingredients too.  Make sure you keep the noise down, stay inside so no one can join in. How about decorations to really get into it. Take packed decorations from any holiday and hang and drape around the room.

You can light candles if you have them, place away from any materials.Turn the lights down and be creative.
Now to prepare a simple meal use a cookie sheet, or aluminum lasagna pan,
cover with foil. Place chicken cut pieces and any sliced  vegetables on the pan You can add either olive oil or canola oil or vegetable oil, just enough to base the bottom of the food to prevent sticking. You would have prepared your meat  first with your favorite seasonings to bake the meat. Make it  spicy by sprinkling on taco seasoning, or Italian by sprinkling dry Parmesan cheese on all. Now cut bread into small pieces and spread butter on each piece and sprinkle garlic powder on the tops, bake these in foil until crispy. If you don't have what you need make do  with what you do have. Use any meat, dice potatoes, onions, carrots, spinach all together. Make a festive punch no sodas. Use any dry mix, kool-aid and ice cream. Add ice, drinks will be foamy, or water mixed with tea and lemon. If you have any of these items. If not use what you have. I know you all are creative enough to whip up something tasty.
I will give more ideas each day through these uncertain times and beyond.
I  wish the best of health to each and everyone who will  read my blog. You are not alone just  apart, See you soon and please leave your comments and ideas too. Be safe

Time to be alone to take care of yourself. You are not really alone but it's best right now. Love yourself.
I have removed all of my photos showing groups of people enjoying various events. I will add them back when we can all be united together once again. I miss you all and be safe.Sincerely, Josetta
